That system icon program should come with B4A because Android apps that use standard icons will be easier to learn. Why re-invent the wheel and confuse the user with strange icons if system icons are already available. Hmmm. Standardizing the look and feel of Android apps. Could be a topic in a certain user's manual I've been reading?

This page on the Android developer website suggests taking a copy of the default icons that you want to use:

If you want to use any icons or other internal drawable resources, you should store a local copy of those icons or drawables in your application resources, then reference the local copy from your application code.

C:\Android\android-sdk\platforms\android-14\data\res\drawable-xhdpi
