Android Question AVD Snapshot option

I would really like to use the AVD save and load from snapshot option but when I try and use it to quickly load the AVD the ADB server will not connect. "No device found". So I'm forced to always start the sloowwww way. Has anyone else seen this problem before? Anyone found ways of speeding up the AVD loading? I write in xcode mostly so I find this AVD speed very painful!

I recommend you to use a real device or one of the Android virtual machines instead.
