Beta [B4A V5.00] Find/Replace

I find the 'old' Find/Replace window much more efficient than the new one.

One click to show it and everything we need is in the window and then we can directly do what we want.

With the new window it needs three clicks to get the whole choice (replace and options).

The two options Search in all modules and Search in selection are missing.

The main search tool in the new IDE is the one you get when you press Ctrl + F. It is very powerful and is based on an index so you can quickly find all the results in all modules. The results are also highlighted.

The replace tool (this one) should only be used to replace text. I've improved it a bit and starting from the next update it will start in replace mode (there are also several other minor improvements).

Currently this dialog doesn't allow to replace in all modules. It will be added in the future.

In B4a 5.02 i cant open Find and replace (F3) (nothing happend

quick search works well

If i press F3 nothing happend?

(i use Windows 10 preview build 10130)

Have you tried it? Maybe the IDE logs will include something (not the device logs).

Are you using .Net Framework 4.5.2?
