M Mike1970 Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Dec 15, 2020 #1 Hi everyone, i tried out this Barcode Reader, it worked perfectly. (https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/b4x-b4xpages-barcode-reader.120417/) I initialized my phone because it was full of junk. I tried the app reader after the process terminated, and it said "Faild to load detector"... so a bit confused, i updated all the things updatable, and nothing changed. I removed and reinstalled the app and now it works again. so after this experience my question is: What limitations have this library? there are some devices not supported for this? Thanks in advance

Ouh ok, thanks Erel. so the expected behavior is that the phone should download this library automatically. So beside the “isOperational” method, that indicates only if the library is ready or not, there is a wat to check the download staus? Or in alternative, you suggest to uninstall and reinstall the app when this happens? Because I didn’t understand if it was a coincidence or not. Upvote 0

No. I expect it to start working automatically after a few minutes, assuming that Google Play Services are installed and there is an internet connection. Upvote 0
