The two buttons are added above the text field. This is how it is designed. You can remove them.

The accept button works in all platforms. It will raise the enter event and it will hide the keyboard. There is no good way to remove focus in Android.

Crazy idea (obviously, since it's mine ): each tft (!) might have a second hidden "EditText" that would receive focus when the enter event will raise.

I'm afraid that my previous statement still stands: " There is no good way to remove focus in Android"

It will cause other problems, worst than having the field still focused.
