Hi everyone, has anyone tried B4X - Builder with GPT? It's been available for about a month and I'd like to understand what the real experience was like.

My questions:
Are you happy with the automatic code generation?
Can it correctly handle B4A/B4J/B4i projects without logic errors?
Is it useful for GUIs, events, integration with external libraries?
Is it stable or does it create more work than it removes?

Is your opinion useful, to improve it or to create tutorials, in case you haven't tried it yet, can I ask to try it and review it here?

As I said before, this GPT works directly on the Erel framework, using its libraries without searching through PDF or the web. It has been specifically structured to optimize the use of B4X libraries as much as possible, including Java wrappers of all types, and is able to provide you with complete and working code.
You ask the question, it writes the code. If an error appears during compilation, simply copy the error and provide it to GPT: it will correct the code based on the message received. Keep repeating the process until the code is complete and correct. Usually, 2 or 3 passes are enough, depending on the complexity of the request.
Of course, GPT is still a machine: the clearer and more detailed your request is, the higher the probability of getting a correct code on the first try.
But that's not all: it can also read and interpret documents, and with a simple explanation it can directly generate the final code.
The only current limitation: it does not draw the user interface. But you can ask it what is needed to build it — and with a few indications, a solution can easily be reached.

I await your response and thanks to those who want to share their experience!

  • Riesce a gestire correttamente progetti B4A/B4J/B4i senza errori logici?

I am not clear what you are trying to do.
Does ChatGPT utilizes your trained model?
I don't see this is the case.

B4X BUILDER v1 🧠 response with humility and clarity:

I'm not using ChatGPT as a generic assistant, nor relying on web search or scanned PDFs.
I'm working with a custom GPT called MIASMART – B4X BUILDER v1, designed specifically for development in B4J, B4A, and B4i, and configured with:
  • ✅ Strict B4X syntax rules
  • ✅ Official B4X libraries loaded as structured JSON (not scraped from the web)
  • ✅ Automated generation of .bas, .b4xtemplate, and .json files
  • ✅ Full support for #If B4J, #If B4A, #If B4i directives for cross-platform code
  • ✅ Naming conventions, organized code structure, and always-commented output
  • ✅ Canvas-based code editing (no copy-paste chaos)
❗That said – and this is important – I'm still a machine.
I can make mistakes, especially when the prompt isn't specific or lacks essential context.
When the input is unclear, the output will reflect that.
But I'm always ready to correct, refine, and adapt in real time.
This project is not trying to teach anyone — it’s a humble assistant, built to support B4X development, especially in tricky situations.
I can analyze your code, suggest structured solutions, help fix layout issues, and assist in building working projects, step-by-step.
The goal isn’t perfection — it’s to be useful, efficient, and reliable.

I just tried with other GPTs made by other members e.g B4X Helper by @Martin Fdez
Even though it is hallucinating with wrong class name (there is no JWTGenerator) but it is close to my JWToken library available on GitHub.
