Hello,
I've successfully installed Mac OS X (Mavericks) on my Linux-host VirtualBox. I then installed Xcode 7.1 and JDK 8u131. Now when i try to open the B4iBuildServer.jar nothing happens. Anyone have any thoughts?

Are you running it from the command line with java -jar ?
First, thank you Erel for responding to this.
I am "new" to using Mac software, so after reading your response I did some research on command line use for Mac and then entered the following command once i had navigated to the Applications folder: java -jar B4iBuildServer.jar
This triggered a lot of activity on the screen and then seemed to "hang" - because closing the terminal produced the message that a process was still running and that closing this would terminate it. I am attaching a graphic of the screen capture.

Yes there was an instance running and once i killed it I was able to then complete the "java -jar" installation and close the terminal without any problem. But then what? Sorry for being so obtuse Erel, but I do not see any way to begin using the program. Should there be an icon or is there another command I need to use?
[Added next day}
As the attached screenshot shows "B4i Build Server is running", but how do I bring up the IDE?
