Android Question How access the H2 database?

I want to access the H2 database with B4A(or must use B4J?),
Does anybody have experience can give me a simple example or some tips. Thank you very much.

Is it a remote database?

You can use RDC (or jRDC) to connect to this database using the jdbc driver.

It embedded mode not server mode database.
It is in local,not remote database.

It is not possible (unless you find an Android library that provides this feature and wrap it).

It is possible with B4J.

H2 seems to be also a DB server.

Yes, H2 suport Embedded and Server mode. I use embedded mode.

Do you want to create a H2 db on your pc and access it from an Android device?

If it so, you should create a H2 DB server on your pc and use RDC to access it as explained here.

My first B4j programe (above #11 reply: only change Log(....) to File.WriteString( File.DirApp, "out.txt",
rs.GetString("CUS_ID") & "," & rs.GetString("CUS_NAME")
) ) compile into .jar success. This JAR on my PC can execute.
But copy to another PC (has install Java Runtime &
h2-1.3.176.jar & jSQL.jar
) is fail(out.txt not created).

How can run this JAR on another PC? There anything missing is not installed yet. Thank you!

Do you have #MergeLibraries: True in #Region Project Attributes? Try running the app from the command line with java -jar MyJar.jar to see what the error messages are.

I found, may be is folder permissions question.
My program copy to c: root, it can't execute.
But copy to c:\temp it can be execute.??
