J JonB New Member Licensed User Longtime User Aug 13, 2012 #1 I have searched and not found an answer of the forum (or any asks re this). Most apps on ICS / JB have little "..." buttons to display settings / configuration. My app when running in debug also has this button. How do i add code to put my settings via this? Thanks Jon.

And, in my app the three dots button appears on the screen only after update my smartphone to Lollipop; before (Android Kitkat) it didn't not appear. Why? Thanks Upvote 0

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 11, 2015 #7 This is how Android is designed. The three dots appear in the bottom bar on "old" applications as a backwards compatibility solution. On new applications the three dots appear in the title bar if there is no hardware menu button.
