I have searched and not found an answer of the forum (or any asks re this).
Most apps on ICS / JB have little "..." buttons to display settings / configuration.
My app when running in debug also has this button.
How do i add code to put my settings via this?

Thanks

Jon.

Thanks.

That would explain it, i was searching under the wrong thing. Now a search for Menu button reveals all.

The three dots button is the standard menu button. It should appear by default.
It will not appear if you add android:targetSdkVersion="14" to the manifest file.

what targetSdkVersion do we have to use ?, that button is important

Why this?
And, in my app the three dots button appears on the screen only after update my smartphone to Lollipop; before (Android Kitkat) it didn't not appear. Why? Thanks

This is how Android is designed. The three dots appear in the bottom bar on "old" applications as a backwards compatibility solution.

On new applications the three dots appear in the title bar if there is no hardware menu button.
There is any way to show this button only on the main activity (and hide it in the other activities)?
