Android Question Trial Version and Rapid Debugger

I assume that the Rapid Debugger feature will be available in the Trial version of B4A, and that it will work with Remote Compilation?

Yes it will be supported in the trial version.

It will also be supported in remote compilation mode. However it will require Java JDK (version 6 or 7) to be installed. The other deployment methods do not require Java JDK (in remote compilation mode).

I don't suppose there's any chance I could get a copy of the new Trial Version so I can make sure the Basic4Android book is correct? I'm making a final revision before publication on 21 October, so I've just about got time to add in this amazing new feature!

Sorry but it is not yet ready, it will be built only after the release of v3.0. However it should behave the same as the full version.

When working in remote compilation mode + rapid debugging then the remote server will only be used when the "shell" app needs to be updated.
So in most cases it will be much quicker than now.
