Bug? Visual Designer not responding

Hi Erel,

I shot a quick video of the issue I'm having:

Coming back into B4A after a few days off, Open Designer, it launches, but I can't access the window. And the preview from the taskbar is blank. I've tried opening multiple projects, updated to v5.8 from v5.5, rebooted, connected to a device via B4A Bridge, and problem persists. and running b4a.exe -log is not generating log.txt nor a C:\temp folder.

How can I get you some log files or help with debugging?

Asus K501UX
Intel i7
Win 10 x64

You need to first create the c:\temp folder for the logs to work.

Have you tried it with B4J? Does it work?

Thanks Erel, here's the log file. And the designer is working properly in B4J.

There is nothing relevant in the logs.

Try to delete the ini file. It is located in: C:\Users\<Your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Anywhere Software\Basic4android (first close the IDE).

Explorer is configured to hide the file extensions. Modify it to show the extensions.

You need to delete b4xV5.
