Android Question App Runs under Debug but fails under release

My application runs well under debug but fails at a specific location when as a release build.

Where should I look for an answer.

If you are using B4A v6.8+ then add #BridgeLogger: True. It will allow you to see the logs in release mode.

Another option is to switch to USB debug mode instead of B4A-Bridge. This will also allow you to see the logs.

that worked and here is my error
java.lang.Exception: Sub activity_permissionresult was not found.

I am using the

Sub Activity_Resume
Starter.rp.CheckAndRequest(Starter.rp.PERMISSION_CAMERA)
InitializeCamera
End Sub

in the activity

I am very new at this (B4X) so I may be wrong, but I had a similar issue and found that I needed to add the following Sub.
It appears that is what you are missing.

Sub Activity_PermissionResult (Permission As String, Result As Boolean)
    If Permission = rp.PERMISSION_CAMERA Then
        If Result Then Log("Permission granted")
    End If
  
End Sub
