Android Question How to Avoid Sleep Mode

Hello,
When I am waiting for some time, the device [Phone] locks and the app is going to sleep mode.
If I want to activate the App- means the device will not be going to sleep mode as long as the App is running. [Like Uber]

Is that possible? I am not able to get any search result on the same.

Please advice on this.
