License Sales & Renewals Software

Hi

Thought I'd ask here before I go off looking or build my own.

I have application(s) which are sold as a perpetual license with 12 months support & updates.

After 12 months the customer can get another 12 months support & updates for % of the full license cost.

Anyway, I have missed some renewals as I maintain the user list in a spreadsheet and I only check it occasionally.

Some bigger customers have their own reminder software and request a quote a month before the due date.

Has anyone used anysoftware/services for managing license allocation/renewals etc?

@tchart use the same "way"... but with text files (at my invoice/quote software have the option - every day shows the customers their support ending and has auto-invoicing button to all of them... but guess... I am not using it at all!)

Sometimes these things need the right people ---> to do the paper work !

I wrote my own server to check whether and when a user has purchased my app. The user number is below 2000, so I just store their order info in plain text files.
