I do, but from memory, Rambo moves constantly up the screen but my game moves in all directions, so there'd be some code changes, but the general structure of my map files would work okay and the enemy AI (which I've not ported from PC yet). You know what? Here's the PC release for you to try out, back from 2002.

Let me know if it works, and whether I should bother finishing the port to Android.

Rambo moves in all directions. And also can fly helicopters :)

Thanx andy i will have a look at it. You just made me want to make rambo for mobile. :)

Btw the most thing in rambo that brought me a big smile to my face was the background music. So awesome.

@Sandman you're probably right. I'm not surte I've played rambo. But I am tempted to write a single soldier based game with simpler controls before finishing my Cannon Fodder clone. I already have a twin stick control system build for my space twin stick shooter game which would work well, and the logic for an overhead 2D soldier shooting game isn't much different to space ships.

Rambo is 8-directions for sprite and map scrolling.

I think you're confusing it with Commando which scrolls down (but the player moves 8-directions)
