OMG AI chip is a pain

I am being trolled by the AI chip in my laptop.
If I play a game it quietly adjusts things without notice.
If I read a webpage in my browser, the damn thing goes into overdrive on changing settings to give me the 'best' display. Resulting in momentary black screens whilst it fiddles with the settings.
It knows it's annoying me, as it will be quiet for a few days then pounce back and start 'adapting' my settings for the best display again.
Wish I'd bought a stupid laptop now.

Well - at least all those annoying "Are you sure you want to do XYZ?" pop-ups have disappeared. But wait - it hasn't started the "Did you mean -> ?" google search type question yet!

No, luckily it only deals with the pc optimizations, no user input required, apart from the occasional swear word when it blanks the screen.
