I am not talking about cryptocurrency wallet but the digital payment we use when paying at cashier. It has become more popular due to pandemic to avoid cashless payment.

Yes, we have PayWave for debit/credit cards. E-wallet is different. I can send money to anyone who has the account by scanning the qrcode. One doesn’t need to have a credit card or a terminal.

My point is there are too many e-wallets here. When I want to integrate them into my Point of Sales system then it is challenging. I am trying to talk with some companies that provide an easy way to integrate the e-wallets.

They have api... check woocommerce vivawallet plugin.... seems easy...

so if the e-wallets in Malaysia have woocommerce plugins (wordpress) - i think will be easy to make at b4x too !

There are eight electronic payment institutions in our country.
A platform has now been launched: "Cross-institution sharing platform for electronic payment"
This new platform not only allows the exchange of cash flow between e-commerce institutions, but also opens up the channel for the exchange of cash flow between e-commerce institutions and all banking institutions.

The ultimate goal is to allow all telecom operators to use a common QR Code (TWQR), and even share access.
In the future, the store will only have one barcode and can accept all electronic payments.
However, this step may take a while to materialize.
Hope it will come true soon, so that my POS system only needs to be connected to an API to accept all electronic payments.

Mmmm - here - these days - even credit cards require a PIN to be entered. (debit cards have always required that).
by scanning the qrcode.
can only think of two that operate here ( but have not become widely used) Snapscan and Zapper. I think a couple of banks have added virtual cards - and QR scanning to their cards.
