Hi Everyone,

It will be interesting to know your opinion on:
1. Does Java to B4X converter has any scope ?
2. Would you be willing to pay for a converter or use it on need basis as a service ?

...knowing that a full identical code conversion to original source is not possible, however, even an accuracy of 90% will help salvage logic / routines and save time.

1. Seems nice idea...
2. it depends...

compatibility is a problem... java swing, java fx... some in those are same... it will be nice to detect, or the end-buyer know the limits...

Also the Cost? of one-time-buy will be High ?

and what about results... End users/buyers must see some examples...before buy

I am using one of java to vb converter to convert java source code to b4x, but only for algorithms. I guess it would be very hard to build a converter with any UI related stuff.
As most part of java code can be made as a library by SLC to call by b4x, I think the user scenarios will be limited but it will be wanted for someone.
