For JAVA, it's a smoking coffee cup with an animated smoke. It's mascot is very similar to the JAVA logo which is static.
Micro soft used a paper clip as a mascot to their office suite. I'm their case it was something radically different from the logo, but easily related to the office suite.
Many sport teams have a mascot, usually an animal, that directly relates to the teams name or emblem.
So, does B4X need a mascot?
No.
Would it hurt having one?
No.
Would it help having one.
In very particular scenarios, like schools, it could help making it easier to create a lasting brain relationship between a visual reference and the product itself.
