make win10 look and work like win11
Some Linux distros are much better looking than win 11. If you want an eye candy system, go for Linux desktop distros. If you want to work on windows executables, use Windows.

Yes I have to use windows as I get paid from clients using windows only.
As for eye candy. not interested much, but want my win10 to look like win11 if is not up-gradable. No harm there.

I still prefer Windows 7. Win 10 or 11 UIs are not standardized. The Control Panel and Settings page for network hardware for example. It hurts.

I have to keep my os as per client, as I have to check similar problems in my machine. In fact I have even WinXp at our office along win Win7 to verify clients display problems.

UI maybe not standarized "yet" or making changes a lot... but "it" commands for example "ipconfig" or "netsh" or powershell now are the same for years... useful to config a pc...

From the other hand having new operating system --> not only the interface... help to have better security and is true...

Well the only reason I can deduce is that MS wants to increase PC sales, no matter what. Looks like they have some commitment to fulfill.

I think there are some tips to bypass all these restrictions... TPM, cpu requirements, ram... but who knows if all that patch will work at the future... (if you search google you will find ways to bypass all these restrictions-requirementts) but from the other hand remember the latest news (2018 and before) - Spectre/Meltdown - those are not lies... AMD and Intel and ofcourse Motherboard Factories didn't find ways to update succesfully previous CPU's - so software must have compatible cpus to do faster what need to do !

So I decided to double check my laptops to see what the score is with them when it comes to that silly little OS called Windows 11, and here are my results. I've watched videos on YouTube that shows you what files to replace so that Windows 11 can still be installed on PCs that are apparently not compatible with Windows 11.

My main problem with Windows 11 is that there are already chip shortages for CPUs, GPUs and I believe also memory, yet Microsoft (and PC manufacturers) have decided to do set unnecessary limits on the OS installation platforms. Behind the scenes (and this is only my personal opinion rightly or wrongly) this Windows 11 update with limits is to do with increasing PC sales for manufacturers and increasing users dependency on Office 365 as well as other Microsoft online services.

Anyway here are my PC Health Check results

I agree fully and also believe once the celebration dies down, MS will allow the left out hardware to upgrade to Win11, after all MS wants all pc under its control.

Meanwhile someone is trying to make Win11 looks like Classic Windows XP.

the actual minimum Windows 11 specs mean that CPU generations don’t matter, as long as you have a 64-bit 1GHz processor with two or more cores, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

Cool.
I remember using a tool in WinXP to make it look and behave like Mac. I can not recall its name now.

For my part i have a non compatible pc, all of my pc are not compatible for the windows 11 requirements, but that does not mather for now we have still some time to ajust, and probably Microsoft will adjust too.

I just ordered a new (old pc) with probably not compatible hardware, but i lurked at the ubuntu, kubuntu newest version and they look very nice, so nice that i will probably install ubuntu on this new pc and setup a VM that will run windows 10 in that VM , i only use windows for B4X, and other ebook applications that compile web site to ebook.

So for me the windows thing i will try to work with ubuntu in the future and only use Windows in VM with specific software that are needed for my business.
I'm realy starting to appreciate the latest versions of Kubuntu, Ubuntu studio and there are software that can replace most of the software that i use under windows except for the B4X wich have to run in windows because of the platform that erel use to create the IDE, and there are no equivalent piece of developer software available for linux distro, so i'm stick to windows for that specific reason, otherwise most of the software can be replaced in the linux distro.

It demand another learning curve and knowing the new software, but overall, windows can be replace by these linux distro, and that's probably what i will do, starting to convert to linux stuff, Microsoft is to eager to make money on us and providing it's partners with a new market, making billion of dollars on our back.

So going on to linux and start learning new software and new OS environment starting NOW,

Bye Bye Windows i'll see you in the VM under linux..

You can try run B4X in Linux without Windows or VM.
