Badges mean what they mean...
I mean... someone who only post "smart" nonsense will eventually become an "expert", as will any registered user get the "longtime user" after 8y...
The only badge which actually meant something, WAS the "licensed user" one, because one would really need to spend money to have it...
But consider this...
If all badges are present in an answer you get to one of your post... It should be meaningfull...
(except for @LucaMs - just kidding)

There Are members whos absence will never go un-noticed...
The ones I remember we "lost" throughout time...
@GeoCoder - He never made the "jump" from B4PPC to B4X.com, but without him, I am almost sure, that jump would never have been possible, as he provided hostage for B4PPC first official Forum in one of his own Servers.
@TaxiMania - I am still "connected" to him trough other means... but he lo longer visits the Forum
@RandomCoder - Whith whom I shared a few projects... also seems to have vanished...

And rest asured @LucaMs , if I ever "find" you gone... it will be a very sad day for me, and any Forum member.

I think Erel should have a Special Badge (besides Founder) because every decision he makes for HIS forum and HIS Website is dissected, scrutinized, and criticized for his implementation! So besides being brilliant, he has the wisdom and patience to deal with all the Longtime Users !!! LOL !!!

Hopefully his vacation has re-energized him to continue on!!! ???

As for Users that disappear, Life Happens All The Time! Hopefully everyone is doing well and just involved in other activities! :)

I for one come and go as Life Happens and Family Responsibilities, Ebb and Flow!

Good, just like my wife, who got her driving licence 15 years ago and has never driven after getting her driving licence. She got a letter from the police congratulating her for driving very well and never having had an accident or even a parking ticket ?
