Hello, hope youre well.

I know that the data of a B4XTable is shown by pages and their rows.
I like to know how to jump to row named by rowid by code but i didn't found any help in the forum. Anyone here to have an answer?
B4J snipped will be welcome.

Thank you in advance.

Guys I think... that if we continue with this style of discussion... may be "Chief"/"Founder" of Forum must lock it..

Let's keep the conversation low-key. no personality traits.

I try to stay friendly even if sometimes I get offended either for my English or for my mistakes, after all I am human. I also wish the same (stay friendly) from everyone who participates in a discussion.

Do we have something to separate? And yes I am not addressing the reason to anyone in particular... because unfortunately 2 out of 4 of the discussion got away.. 2-3 times...

We proposed some solutions, besides these solutions I feel that they improve us... there is no reason to either push things or be upset with each other..

I believe that b4x unites us

Sometimes we have to admit our mistakes or not insist so much even if we are absolutely right. Because the discussion derails from the desired solution and is directed towards technical details that every programmer thinks about differently.

Ya, I admit I am wrong.
I have emphasized too much attention to the design instead of paying attention to the technical goal.

One suggestion I want to add is to use the Primary Key for "searching".
We can also use non-numeric values for the code instead of Id or rowid.

Search

I think the OP question is how to "search" and "read" any row he wants.
Whether he has started to "touch" the table, selecting any row, adding or deleting any row is not important. He just want to go to a specific row.
By the way, as I said, the SearchField is already there to use. We only need to design our database with a unique Primary Key.
