There's been a lot of talking about taking B4X to "the next level"...

Hi Guys,

So, a few "new" threads have been emerging concerning "how to take B4X to the next level"...
Although most of these threads come from a "status" concern, regarding B4X platform, none of them really gives birth to a "let's do this" movements, and the lingering idea is "that's what I already do".

So, Why not take advantage of the new (or not so new) social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Intagram, TiK-Tok, etc...?
Does B4X have such accounts? If NOT, would you (@Erel) give permission to someone, under your strict surveillance, to create and maintain such accounts?

This would, indirectly at least, reach the width of each individual member's network, thus exposing B4X to a much more vast crowd...
Or am I just being naïve?

Erel has LinkedIn account.
I don't think developers interested on Instagram and TikTok.

I think the best to promote B4X is more video tutorials for demo, intro, hands on, comparison, get started.

Second, occasionally do ads campaign in Google search (text based) , Facebook, YouTube ads (video based), etc.

Third, a volunteer expert create professional looking websites like free code camp, code academy and teach on Udemy. Or any good writer for technical blogs.

Fourth, create more interesting projects especially what are trending now such as the field of AI, LLM and machine learning.

So I'm not a developer? :O
So I follow some Flutter and Swift developers on Instagram to see what kind of things they are doing.

The problem with that, as in that discussion, is that this community is too world wide spread, thus the visitors expectancy quantity would be insufficient to justify such event.

We can have a range... 17:00 UTC ~ 19:00 UTC - So if someone can't get in at least see some of the members.... can

Take my example, I am not a dev by trade, and work from 8 AM to 17 PM, thus I am not available before 18 PM at best, Paris Time.
Take someone is Australia (Hey There mates!) ; they have a 12H time-zone difference from me...

At best a minimum of 3 webbinars would be needed (Central America, Europe, Australia) to allow everyone to participate, but that would void interaction between members of different time zones if not available.
Also we can screen - record it... to share with others members...

I guess "we" could start small, with EREL making a few "short" live feeds, allowing us to exchange with him, then if successful, create a ZOOM "conference", and keep growing until a satisfactory environment is found...
I strongly believe that this would consolidate the Dev-Core of this community, and perhaps even allow for unexpected collaborations.

I agree it is difficult to let everyone to join at the right time. The free Google Meet or Teams only allow maximum of 100 participants in 1 hour of meeting. My idea is we can organize a lot of random meeting at random time. After sometime we will know which time is the best time with more members joining. Whoever is free just join. Since we don't need to pay anything and we are not going to discuss anything serious or involve big business. For me it is better to start something and see what we can improve in the future.

I agree,... should we create a poll to raise interest?
